The tiny islands are dotted with innumerable beaches and caves created by the wind and the waves that make a excellent backdrop for swimming or just lazing about on the boat deck..Ho Chi Minh City - still known to locals as Saigon - is Vietnam’s largest city. It is 1,730km by land from Ha Noi capital and 50 km from the East-Sea. Saigon was once praised as the "Pearl of the Far East".Located 60km from HCMC, Cu Chi is now a popular spot for both Vietnamese & foreign tourists - the network of over 200km of tunnels became legendary when they played a vital role in the War. In their heyday, the tunnels were functioning underground cities including numerous trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers & kitchens.Today, ducks and water buffalos happily co-exist in the rivers along the side of the road. However, the peaceful rural rice paddy scenery belies the area’s violent history. Visitors will find it hard to imagine the destruction, damage & defoliation over this whole area, caused by bombing and mines. There is plenty of evidence of the fierce battle that took place here during the 1960s when Cu Chi was a "Free Target Zone".

DAY 1: HANOI ARRIVAL

• Upon arrival in Hanoi, our local guide will meet and greet you at Noi Bai International Airport (Flight TBA). 
• O/N at hotel in Hanoi.

DAY 2: HANOI – HALONG BAY

• ABF at hotel.
• Enjoy a morning city tour to some of the city’s attractions including the fascinating Ho Chi Minh mausoleum (close on Monday & Friday) and Quan Thanh pagoda on the shores of Truc Bach lake. This pagoda dates from the 11th century and is said to protect this region from outside invaders. Next, proceed to visit Ngoc Son temple in the centre of modern Hanoi. Driver through Hanoi old quarter. Continue visiting to the temple of Literature, which is regarded as the first university in Viet Nam.
• After lunch at local restaurant proceed (3.5h) to Ha Long Bay, one of Vietnam’s greatest natural wonders and was recognized as World’s Natural Heritage by UNESCO in 2000.
• This evening you will have a seafood dinner at one of the good local restaurant.
• Overnight at hotel in Ha Long bay.

DAY 3: HA LONG - HANOI 

• ABF at hotel.
• Take a 4-hour cruise on the emerald green waters of Halong among the 3,000 spectacular limestone Islands, visit grottoes and floating village. The cruise ends with a fresh seafood lunch on board.
• Back to Hanoi after lunch time and have dinner at local restaurant upon arrival in Hanoi.
• Dinner at local restaurant
• Transfer to Noi Bai International Airport for domestic flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Our driver will pick you up at Tan San Nhat International Airport (Flight TBA) and transfer to HCMC. Check in Hotel.
• O/N at hotel in Ho Chi Minh City

DAY 4: HO CHI MINH CITY - CU CHI – HO CHI MINH CITY

• ABF at hotel.
• Leave Ho Chi Minh City for Cu Chi tunnels
• On your way, you will pass by paddy fields. Here you will have the opportunity to meet villagers and witness how rice paper is made. Explore the amazing labyrinth of tunnels used by the guerrillas during the war.
• Lunch will be served at local restaurant.
• Transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City and proceed for a half day city tour. Visit the War museum, Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, General Post Office, Ben Thanh market and other shopping center if time permits.
• Enjoy dinner at one of the good local restaurants.
• Overnight at hotel in Ho Chi Minh city.

DAY 5: HO CHI MINH CITY DEPARTURE
