VFTMY-03: DISCOVER THE SOUTH OF VIETNAM

Route: Hochiminh – City Tour – Cuchi tunnels – Mekong delta- Cantho

Duration: 5 days/4nights

DAY 1: HOCHIMINH ARRIVAL- HALF DAY CITY TOUR (Halal Dinner)

Arrival Tan Son Nhat international airport, greeted by our licensed guide, transfer in air conditioned bus to hotel for check in. Tour begin visiting Central Post Office, City Hall and China Town. Then transfer to Mai Collection Factory Outlet for shopping of good quality telekung, bajukurung, jubah at reasonable prices. Dinner at halal restaurant. Overnight at hotel.

DAY 2: HOCHIMINH CITY – CUCHI TUNNEL - CITY TOUR (Breakfast/Halal Lunch/Halal Dinner)

After breakfast in hotel, transferto visit Cu Chi Tunnels. Cu Chi was an important base during the American War, because of its strategic location. The Vietcong built a 200km long network of tunnels connecting command posts, hospitals, shelter and weapon factories. Dug out of hard laterite by hand tools without the use of cement, this amazing network was never discovered. Lunch at halal restaurant. Afternoon, Shopping at Kipling Bags Store – Good quality & fashion designedmade in Vietnam. Shopping at Ben Thanh Market & visit Hard Rock Café. Dinner at halal restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Ho Chi Minh.

DAY 3: HOCHIMINH CITY–MEKONG– CANTHO (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

After breakfast, heading out of town, we travel by road to Mytho, a capital of Tien Giang Province, an island port in the Mekong River Delta which is 2hours drive from HCM city. Embark on a cruise navigating along TienRiver, sightseeing 4 beautiful islands, Long, Lan, Qui, Phuong. Wander through Thoi San Island, stop by to visit local coconut candy workshop, take a boat to orchard at Qui Islet and taste five seasonal fruits, listen to Don Ca Tai Tu Nam Bo' one of Vietnamese folk music. Stop by Mr Nam Ngo's House enjoy honey tea and row sampan through narrow water coconut creek. Lunch at local Restaurant. transfer by land to the city of Can Tho, the heart of Mekong Delta. Check in hotel for overnight. Dinner at a local restaurant.

DAY 4: CANTHO – HOCHIMINH CITY (Breakfast/Lunch/Halal Dinner)

Today you will get up early to catch the amazing scene of Cai Rang Floating Market. During market hours (from 4.00 am to 8.00 am), larger sized boats anchor and create lanes that smaller boats weave in and out of. The waterway becomes a maze of hundreds of boats packed with mangoes, bananas, papayas, pineapples and even smuggled goods like cigarettes. At the Cai Rang Floating Market, you can take pictures or interact with the local people. After the market, the trip will take you along the river bank and down the canals to see how the people live, and also to see Mr Ca Cong’s garden and noodle workshop.

Return to hotel for breakfast and check out. Get on vehicle to make our way back to HCMC with a seafood lunch in My Tho. Dinner in a halal local restaurant and overnight in HCMC

DAY 5: HOCHIMINH CITY – DEPARTURE (Breakfast)

Time at leisure until transfer to Tan San Nhat International Airport for departure.
